How to Reconstitute Peptides β€” Step by Step

All peptides from Steroid Warehouse are supplied as lyophilised (freeze-dried) white powder. They require reconstitution with bacteriostatic water before injection. Never use plain sterile water for multi-dose vials β€” bacteriostatic water contains 0.9% benzyl alcohol which prevents bacterial contamination and keeps reconstituted peptide stable for 28–30 days refrigerated.

  1. Gather: peptide vial, bacteriostatic water vial, two insulin syringes (1 ml, 29–31G), two alcohol swabs
  2. Wipe both stoppers with alcohol swabs β€” let dry 30 seconds before puncturing
  3. Draw bacteriostatic water into syringe β€” use the volume from the calculator above
  4. Inject water along the vial wall β€” aim at the glass, not onto the powder cake directly
  5. Do not shake β€” swirl gently until fully dissolved. Solution must be clear, no particles
  6. Refrigerate at 2–8Β°C β€” stable for 28–30 days. Keep away from light
  7. To dose: draw the units shown in the calculator using a fresh insulin syringe and inject subcutaneously
Why water volume matters: adding 1 ml to a 5 mg vial gives 5 mg/ml β€” very concentrated, tiny volumes per dose that are hard to measure. Adding 2.5 ml gives 2 mg/ml β€” larger, easier-to-read volumes. For doses under 300 mcg, use 2.5–3 ml per 5 mg vial for easier accuracy.

Tirzepatide 5mg 5 mg 2.5 ml 2 mg/ml 2.5 mg 125 units
Units explained: insulin syringes are marked in units β€” 100 units = 1 ml. "Draw to 25 units" = draw to the 25 mark on a U-100 syringe = 0.25 ml.

Injection Sites and Technique

  • Best sites: abdomen (2 inches from navel), outer thigh, outer upper arm β€” pinch skin, 45Β° angle, inject slowly
  • Rotate sites: never inject the same spot repeatedly β€” prevents tissue irritation
  • BPC-157: injecting near the injury site produces the most direct localised repair effect
  • Needle size: 29–31 gauge, 0.5 inch insulin needle β€” minimal pain, correct subcutaneous depth
  • GH secretagogue timing: dose Ipamorelin and CJC-1295 30–60 minutes before sleep, fasted β€” insulin significantly blunts GH release

Frequently Asked Questions

What is bacteriostatic water and why do I need it? οΌ‹
Bacteriostatic water is sterile water containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol β€” a preservative that prevents bacterial growth after the vial has been punctured. It keeps reconstituted peptide stable for 28–30 days refrigerated. Plain sterile water has no preservative β€” single-dose use only. Always use bacteriostatic water for multi-dose vials.
How long does a reconstituted peptide last? οΌ‹
Reconstituted peptides stored at 2–8Β°C in bacteriostatic water are typically stable for 28–30 days. Lyophilised powder before reconstitution is stable at room temperature for months to years away from light. Never freeze reconstituted peptides β€” this damages the structure.
How much bacteriostatic water should I add? οΌ‹
For most 5 mg vials, 2–3 ml is standard. More water = lower concentration = larger syringe volumes = easier to measure small doses. For doses below 300 mcg, use 2.5–3 ml per 5 mg vial. Use the calculator above for your exact combination.
What syringe should I use? οΌ‹
A standard U-100 insulin syringe β€” 1 ml capacity, 29–31 gauge needle, 0.5 inch length. Marked in units where 100 units = 1 ml. Use a fresh needle every injection.
My peptide powder is not dissolving β€” what should I do? οΌ‹
Swirl gently β€” never shake. Give it 2–5 minutes. If powder remains, warm the vial in your palm briefly. Never use heat above body temperature. If solution stays cloudy or has visible particles β€” do not inject. Contact Steroid Warehouse support.
Can I mix two peptides in the same syringe? οΌ‹
Yes β€” draw each from its own vial into the same syringe. Common combinations: Ipamorelin + CJC-1295, BPC-157 + TB-500. Keep each peptide reconstituted in its own vial β€” do not mix in storage.
